SATCOM DIRECT AEROCNCT

Overview: Satcom Direct aeroCNCT is a technology course designed for aviation crewmembers with a wide range of knowledge or skills. aeroCNCT (Crewmember Network and Connectivity Training) provides fundamental knowledge and basic concepts, and builds the skills required to provide passenger device connectivity assistance.

Course Objectives: In this course, you will identify concepts related to aircraft networking and communications systems, manage device connectivity, and troubleshoot common issues associated with using both wired and wireless devices in flight. You will:

• Identify aircraft connection elements and their purposes
• Configure devices for in-flight connectivity
• Manage cabin connections
• Use common applications and tools
• Manage aircraft operations

Target Student: This course is designed for flight attendants, flight technicians, pilots, co-pilots, and other onboard personnel who may be required to assist passengers and other aircraft personnel with accessing various communication networks and troubleshooting common connectivity issues. While the target student is expected to have some limited knowledge of and experience with using various mobile and traditional IT devices, the student is not a technician, network administrator, or other IT-department employee or contractor.
